2 lbs. Apples Apple Juice Brown Sugar | Peel and core the apples. Put them in an oven dish and sprinkle with brown sugar, according to tartness of apples. Add apple juice to about 1/3rd of the height of apples. Cover with buttered greaseproof paaper and bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes. Remove paper, baste apples with juice, and bake a llittle longer to brown slightly. Serve hot or cold. |
