Apples in Apple Juice

2 lbs. Apples  
Apple Juice  
Brown Sugar
Peel and core the apples. Put them in an oven dish and sprinkle with brown sugar, according to tartness of apples. Add apple juice to about 1/3rd of the height of apples. Cover with buttered greaseproof paaper and bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes. Remove paper, baste apples with juice, and bake a llittle longer to brown slightly. Serve hot or cold.
