Baked Pears  
 
Ingredients
 
Method
 
1 Pear and 2 Cloves Per Serving  
2 tblspns. Butter  
1/2 Cup Syrup  
2 tblspns. Lemon Juice
Peel, halve and core pears, and set flat side down in a glass baking dish. Mix syrup with lemon juice and pour over fruit, dot with butter, and stick two cloves into pears. Put in a hot oven for 15 minutes and baste pears at intervals with the syrup. Serve hot, or cold, as dessert.
