1 Cup Seedless Raisins 1Cup Currants. Fruits 2 Cups Flour a Pinch Salt 1 Cup Sugar 1/3rd Grated Nutmeg 1 Cup Cold Water 1 tblspn. Butter 1 Cup Hot Water. | Wash 1 cup seedless raisins and 1 cup currants.Then into bowl with cleaned fruit, sift 2 cups flour,a pinch salt and 1 cup sugar and 1/3rd grated nutmeg.To these ingredients in 1 cup cold water,and 1 tblspn. Butter dissolved in 1 cup hot water. Stir all together and pour into a greased pudding mould. This can even be mixed 1 or 2 nights before. Steam for 3 hours and serve with sauce or custard. |
