Rice Loaf

1 Cup Rice  
4 Cups Milk  
11 Cup Buttered Crumbs  
1/2 tspn. Salt  
2 tblspn. Flour  
2 tblspn. Butter  
2 Cups Grated Cheese  
Pinch Pepper
Cook the rice in three cups of milk. Melt the butter, add flour, seasoning and 1 cup milk and cook the sauce until it thickens. Allow cheese to melt in the sauce. Arrange alternate layers of rice and sauce in a buttered casserole, srinkle with breadcrumbs and bake in a moderate oven for 20 to 30 minutes. 6-8 servings.
