Melt the butter, add flour, seasoning and 1 cup milk and cook the sauce until it thickens. Allow cheese to melt in the sauce. Arrange alternate layers of rice and sauce in a buttered casserole, srinkle with breadcrumbs and bake in a moderate oven for 20 to 30 minutes. 6-8 servings. |
