1 oz. Butter 1/2 Pint Milk 4-6 ozs. Grated cheese Salt and Pepper 1 oz. Flour Little Chopped Onion Mustard Celery and Carrot. | Heat the milk with the chopped vegetables and leave in warm place. Heat the butter, remove from heat and stir in the flour. Gradually blend in the strained milk. Bring to boil,stirring constantly, and cook till smoth. Season well. Add grated cheese and stir till melted. |
