Short Crust Pastry

5 - 6 oz. Butter  
2 Cups Flour  
4 tblspns. Iced Water  
Pinch Salt  
1 Level tspn. Baking Powder
Sift flour, salt, baking powder; chop in butter until very fine. Add 4 tblspn. Iced water gradually - sprinkling all over. Take a spoon and mash together (a wooden spoon is preferable). Roll out to 1/4" thick. Bake for about 10 - 15 mins. In a hot oven.
(For Apple Tart - add cinnamon to the apples, then sprinkle milk on top of pastry and also some castor sugar).
