Baked Bananas a L'Orange

3 Firm Ripe Bananas  
1 tblspn. Brown Sugar  
1/3 Cup Fresh Orange Juice  
1 tblspn. Butter  
1/3 Cup Shredded Coconut  
2 tblspns. White Sugar  
2 tspns. Cornflour  
Whipped Cream  
OR  
Ice- Cream(Optional)
Peel the bananas and cut in half lengthwise and crosswise. Arrange in a shallow buttered baking dish. Combine the cornflour, white sugar and the orange juice and pour this over the bananas, coating well. Dot with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and coconut. Bake at 375o F for 30 minutes, or until sauce is slightly thick and the bananas are tender. Serve topped with whipped cream, or ice cream, if desired.
