Banana Dulce Zacatecano

Method
 
3 Large Firm Bananas  
1/4 Cup Sugar  
2 tblspns. Butter  
1/2 Cup Cream  
1/4 Cup Apple Juice  
1 tspn. Vanilla
Peel the bananas and slice lengthwise. Saute in butter untill golden brown. Drain and place in a shallow dish. Sprinkle with a little of the sugar. Whip cream, adding remaining sugar, apple juice and vanilla. Spoon over bananas, covering them completely. Chill. Serve cery cold.
