Steamed Chocolate Pudding

6 tblspns. Hot Water  
1 tblspn. Syrup  
4 oz. Flour  
1-1/2 oz. Sugar  
1/2 oz. Cocoa  
1-1/2 oz. Butter  
2tspns. Baking Powder  
Vanilla Essence  
Pinch of Bi-Carb.  
Pinch of Salt.
Add syrup to hot water. Dissolve pinch Bi-carb. In this.Melt butter separately. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa together.Add sugar. Mix with above liquids.Add vanilla and melted butter.Steam in a greased mould for 45-50 minutes.
