Brown Sauce

Method
 
2 Chopped Onions  
1/2 lb Chopped Mushrooms  
1 - 1/2 Gills Apple Juice  
1 Pint Brown Sauce  
3 tblspns. Butter  
1 tblspn. Tomato Puree  
Salt  
Pepper
Heat butter in heavy pan and saute onions until lightly browned. Add the mushrooms and cook fairly quickly for 3 minutes. Add the apple juice and cook until reduced by half. Add the brown sauce with the tomato puree and simmer gently for 8 minutes.
