Christmas Pudding

2 tblspns. Sago  
1 Cup Milk  
1/2 Cup Sugar  
1/2 Cup Hot Milk  
2 tblspns. Butter  
1 tspn. Bi-Carb.  
2 Cups Brown Crumbs  
1-1/2 Cups Mixed Dried Fruit.
Soak the sago in the milk for 2 hours.Cream the butter and sugar. Add the breadcrumbs, the fruit, the soda mixed in the hot milk, and stir well. Pour into a well - greased basin, cover with foil and steam for 3-4 hours. Serve with custard.
