Australian Jeely  
2 oz. Sago  
1/2 Pint Milk  
1/2 Pint Water  
1 tblspn. Syrup  
Red Food Colour  
Lemon Essence.
Soak the sago in water for 1 hour, then boil until transparent. Add the milk and syrup and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add flavouring and colouring. Pour into a wetted mould and leave until cold before turning out.
