1 Cup Wholemeal 1 Cup Flour 1 tblspn. Brown Sugar Pinch Salt 4 tspn. Baking Powder 2 oz. Butter 1/2 Cup Chopped Dates 3/4 Cup Milk | Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Mix in wholemeal and rub in butter finely. Add brown sugar and dates and mix in well. Mix to a soft dough with milk. Roll out 1/2" thick and cut into shapes. Bake on greased sheet at 450o F for 10 - 15 minutes. |
