Gridle Scones

2-1/2 Breakfast Cups Flour  
1 tspn Golden Syrup  
1 tspn Cream of Tartar  
Buttermilk  
1 tspn. Bi-carb.  
1 oz. Butter  
Pinch Salt
Sieve the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Rub in the butter. Add the syrup and mix to a soft consistency with the milk. Turn onot a floured board and roll quickly. Cut into shapes. Grease and heat a gridle and cook scones on both sides. Cooking time 10 mins.
